apparently there are threads in the tie which are glossier then the rest and they stand out making a wavy windy sort of feel to the tie when the light hits it

Dude that tie is egregious!!! they might have been staring at your tie and either thinking how bold you are to wear that and have a Hispanic van dyke at the same time, or just to confused by the pattern and colors to say anything about it haha
